Vijay’s Party Denies Reports of Joining NDA Alliance

Speculation about Vijay’s political plans has been circulating after reports claimed that Pawan Kalyan had advised him to join the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). However, leaders from Vijay’s party have strongly denied the reports.
Vijay, who recently launched his political party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), has consistently stated that his party will contest all seats in the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections independently, without forming alliances.
Over the past couple of days, social media and political circles were abuzz with rumours suggesting that Pawan Kalyan had called Vijay and recommended an alliance strategy, citing his own political journey as an example. Reports claimed that Pawan Kalyan highlighted how contesting alone in the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections had limited success for him, and joining forces with the Telugu Desam Party and Bharatiya Janata Party eventually helped him secure the Deputy Chief Minister post.
The rumours further suggested that Vijay could join the NDA, contest around 50 seats, and potentially take the Deputy Chief Minister position if the alliance came to power.
However, senior TVK leader Aadhav Arjuna has dismissed these claims, clarifying that no such conversation took place and reaffirming that Vijay’s party has no plans to join any alliance.
