The protesting farmers and people of Amaravati have been asking and demanding the support of Telugu film industry in the capital row. But till date, only a few of them have come in support and that too because they are active in full-time politics and are inclined towards either TDP or YSRCP. Now a producer has come forward and extended his moral support and he is Ashwini Dutt.
On Saturday, Dutt visited a few villages of Amaravati and appeased the farmers who were protesting and sat down on hunger strike. Everyone knows that Dutt’s political inclination is towards TDP but since many years, he is staying away from mainstream politics.
It’s a good gesture that Ashwini Dutt has come out and is first among the producers. Hope many will join him. At least not for politics, hope the Tolly personalities will come out and support the farmers who are agitating since the last 25 days.
