Issues like the future of Power purchase agreements (PPA) singed in united AP , status of Hyderabad, water sharing and the issue of Single VAT will dominate the industrial sector after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh . Industry Minister Geeta Reddy however assured that there would be no flight of capital and investment from Telagnana or from Seemandhra after the bifurcation is over .
Although rosy picture is painted Telangana without water reserviors and power plants will suffer with flight of capita, unemployment and also absnece of energetic industrialists. It appears that Seemandhra will face deficit of skilled manpower and Telangana will have shortage of power ,water and also investments in near future.The industry captains represented by the AP branches CII and FICCI and the FAPCCI, expressed concern about the possible power shortage in the yet to be constituted Telangana state
Though Geeta Reddy, the minister who belongs to Telangana, said that similar industrial policies will be followed in both Telangana and Seemandhra as Congress will be governing both the statesm the industry captains say Telangana would suffer due to absence of enterprenuers and investments
