As rumors erupted that Trisha agreed to star in a ‘special song’ in upcoming Kannada remake of ‘Attarintiki Daredi’, she felt shocked. One would wonder why an actress of her stature will agree for an item song just after scoring a stupendous hit as a heroine. Even Trisha wondered similarly. “Forget about the item song, none have approached me for a lead role in Attarintiki Daredi remake. I didn’t even got a single phone call about this flick”, says Trisha.
Talented actor Sudeep is remaking Pawan’s industry flick into Kannada as ‘Ranna’. Beautiful Rachita Ram and Haripriya are reprising the roles of Samantha and Praneetha, while Trisha denied playing the role of any Hamsa Nandini or Mumtaz for the believed item song.
