New-age director Sampath Nandi seems to be obesessed to work with superstar Pawan Kalyan and reportedly declined to do a multistarrer with NTR and Nagarjuna, which was offered to him on a platter. Even though, the script of Gabbar Singh 2 got ready early this year and everything was finalised but it got stuck due to power star political campaign, for few months Rachcha director was resting, when he got an opportunity to direct Tamil hit film ‘Jilla’ with NTR and Nagarjuna and he even watched the Tamil version and suggested some corrections for Telugu remake.
But when producer Sarath Marar informed him, that Gabbar Singh could take-off October, director choose to work with Pawan over two stars. Directors tend to get hooked to Pawan’s charisma, what you say guys.?
