“Gaami” presents a captivating storyline, following the journey of a character seeking a cure for a condition called “Human Touch.” The film’s promotional content, including the recently launched trailer, has garnered significant positive response. The trailer launch event, held at Prasad’s IMAX, saw Sandeep Reddy Vanga as the guest of honor, with the entire “Gaami” team in attendance.
The 3-minute and 43-second trailer offers a glimpse into the film’s world, showcasing the protagonist’s journey to the Himalayas in search of a cure. However, it leaves much to the imagination, hinting at a deeper narrative involving a Devadasi woman, her child, and another individual residing in a unique asylum. The protagonist’s attempt to escape from this institution forms a central thread in the story, described by the makers as “a journey of pain, introspection, resilience, and soul searching.”
The trailer offers glimpses of the antagonist’s journey alongside the protagonist’s. The film boasts visually stunning cinematography by Vishwanath Reddy and Rampy Nandigam, complemented by captivating performances from the cast. Vishwak Sen delivers a transformative performance, while Chandini Chowdary shines as the leading lady. MG Abhinaya, Harika Pedada, and Mohammad Samad also play prominent roles.
The film features a strong supporting cast including Dayanand Reddy, Shanthi Rao, Mayank Parakh, John Kottoly, Bomma Sreedhar, Rajnish Sharma, and many others. The music of “Gaami” is composed by Naresh Kumaran and Sweekar Agasthi, while V Celluloid presents the film, produced by Karthik Sabareesh under Karthik Kult Creations. Vidyadhar Kagita serves as the director and co-writer of the screenplay alongside Pratyush Vatyam.
