Popular artist Ghazal Srinivas was arrested this morning on the complaint of a woman who accused him of sexual harassment.
Punjagutta (Hyderabad) police have reportedly confirmed the arrest of Srinivas. A woman who works in AalayaVani Web Radio, owned by Srinivas himself, has filed a case on him citing he had harassed her both sexually and mentally for long time.
Acting on her complaint, the police have conducted a preliminary inquiry, and arrested Srinivas after reportedly finding incriminating evidence against him. Further details regarding this case are to be known.
Ghazal Srinivas has become a household name and attained fame with his Guinness record feat for singing in most number of languages.
