Google has launched its AI Plus plan in India, introducing powerful AI tools like Nano Banana Pro access and the Gemini 3 Pro model at an affordable price. This new plan marks Google’s most budget-friendly AI subscription in India, enabling users to experience premium AI features without the high cost. Previously, Google offered only two plans: Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra. With AI Plus, the company now adds an entry-level tier for cost-conscious users.
The Google AI Plus subscription is priced at Rs 199 per month for the first six months, after which it will cost Rs 399 per month. The plan includes access to Gemini Pro, Deep Research tools, image generation through Nano Banana Pro, and limited access to Veo 3.1 Fast. Subscribers also receive 200 monthly AI credits for the Whisk and Flow apps, along with 200GB of combined storage for Google Photos, Drive, and Gmail. Additionally, AI Plus users can access NotebookLM features, including audio overviews, notebooks, and more.
For comparison, the higher-tier plans—Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra—cost Rs 1,950 and Rs 24,500 per month, respectively. These plans provide 1,000 AI credits and 25,000 AI credits for video generation, respectively. Google also continues to offer a free tier, which includes limited features such as 15GB of cloud storage and restricted access to Gemini 2.5 Flash and Gemini 3 Pro models.
With AI Plus, Google aims to make advanced AI tools accessible to a wider audience in India, bridging the gap between free offerings and premium subscriptions.
