Mahesh Babu–Sandeep Vanga ‘Devil’ Rumours Resurface Again
Speculation about a potential collaboration between superstar Mahesh Babu and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has resurfaced on social media, creating excitement among fans.
The discussion revolves around a script titled “Devil,” which Vanga reportedly narrated to Mahesh back in 2020. At the time, Mahesh is said to have declined the project due to concerns over its intense violence and adult-themed content. However, after the blockbuster success of Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, fresh rumours began circulating that Mahesh might reconsider working with the director.
Vanga’s bold and gritty storytelling in Animal significantly altered Ranbir Kapoor’s on-screen image, prompting fans to speculate whether a similar transformation could happen for Mahesh Babu if the two teamed up.
On Monday, several fan pages and social media handles claimed that “Devil” would be revived next year, reportedly backed by producer Suneil Narang. The news quickly gained traction and sparked widespread discussion online.
However, sources close to the development have clarified that there is no truth to these reports. Vanga is currently focused on Spirit, starring Prabhas. Following that, he is committed to directing Animal Park, the sequel to Animal, again with Ranbir Kapoor.
As of now, no project has been finalised between Mahesh Babu and Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and the speculation appears to be purely social media-driven.
