Seems ESL.Narasimhan, who is enjoying power as Governor of not one but two states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana knows how to win the hearts of top people. He is regarded as close to Sonia Gandhi and Congress Government during UPA rule and when PM Modi and BJP came to power crushing Congress to defeat many thought Narasimhan would be shunted out of power.
However though the new government removed many Congress appointed governors, Narasimhan surprisingly saved his post. Now it seems he stole the heart of PM Narendra Modi. Many say one need not be surprised if he gets another term too. PM Modi surprised all by calling Narasimhan and wishing him on his birthday.
Political analysts say it is no small achievement for a person to become Governor under UPA regime led by Congress which spit venom on PM Modi and then get birthday wishes from Modi himself. Political leaders say this shows Narasimhan’s clout with PM Modi.
