G Vinod, a graduate who completed B-Tech from Jayaprakash Narayana engineering college, committed suicide at Kundur village of Veepangandla mandal on Sunday evening after getting upset with the growing strength to the new proposal ‘Rayala-Telangana’. On Sunday, Vinod had a serious debate with his friends on Telangana issue. Later, he went to his house and set himself ablaze.
In the suicide note, Vinod mentioned that he was immolating himself for strengthening the demand of Separate Telangana state. Cops have registered a case and sent the body for postmortem.
The delay in decision making of UPA Government on the burning issue like Telangana is taking the lives of innocent and young people in the region. Every sacrifice is a wake-up call for the Centre to make them take a decision as early as possible.
