Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has opened up about the importance of starting the day right, sharing her “power morning” routine that she says has had a transformative impact on her life.

Taking to Instagram, Samantha posted a video explaining that mornings set the tone for the entire day. She noted that issues such as stubborn belly fat, skin concerns, and waking up feeling puffy could sometimes be linked to how the day begins.

She said, “Today let’s talk about how you start your day. I’ve always believed that if you get your morning right, it just sets the tone for everything that follows. I have tried many different morning routines and have finally arrived at a simple formula that works for me, and I call this my power morning.”

She added that immediately reaching for phones, emails, or news after waking can increase stress levels, as cortisol is naturally high in the morning. According to her, this habit can impact focus and increase cravings for instant gratification throughout the day.

“So when you wake up, your stress hormone is naturally high. This is normal, but what you do next is really important. If you reach for your phone, news, work, emails, you double that stress,” she explained.

Samantha outlined her personal routine, suggesting simple steps such as avoiding the phone for the first hour, practicing deep breathing, and spending time in silence to activate the vagus nerve and calm the body.

She also recommended early sunlight exposure, a simple morning drink, a balanced breakfast, light movement before 11 a.m., and delaying caffeine intake until after food to maintain stable energy levels.

The actress further advised setting a clear daily intention, emphasizing the importance of writing down a small goal to stay focused and avoid distractions.

She concluded by calling it her “eight-step power morning,” encouraging followers to try the routine for 21 days and observe the changes in their mental and physical well-being.
