As previously reported, the producers of both movies had approached the government well in advance seeking the necessary approvals. Earlier, in the cases of films like OG and Akhanda 2, the High Court had struck down the government orders that allowed ticket price hikes. However, this time, the court clarified that the earlier single-bench verdict applies only to Pushpa 2, OG, Game Changer, and Akhanda 2.
