“Hanu-Man” Soars High: A Sankranti Hero Emerges in the North Indian Market

While the Sankranti season witnessed several releases in Telugu cinema, “Hanu-Man” has emerged as the undisputed box office champion, particularly in terms of profitability. Within just five days, the film garnered ₹18.77 crores in India, with Friday marking the lowest collection at ₹2.15 crores and Tuesday witnessing ₹2.60 crores.

The Telugu version also performed commendably in North India, raking in a total of ₹1.54 crores. These figures are particularly noteworthy considering the limited pre-release hype surrounding “Hanu-Man” and the absence of mainstream Bollywood actors.
