Harikrishna’s last letter to fans ahead of B’Day on Sept 2

Nandamuri Harikrishna’s death in a road mishap at Nalgonda is certainly a loss to his family and the TDP. The 61-year-old actor-turned-politician, who entertained Telugu audience over the years, was known for being upright and frank opinions.

Harikrishna along with two others started off from Hyderabad to attend a wedding ceremony in Nellore. The police officials stated that the actor was driving his car – Toyota Fortuner at a high speed to reach Nellore early by today morning 9 am. After reaching Anneparthi in Nalgoda district, the car rammed into the divider and flung in the air before turning turtle. Harikrishna suffered severe head and chest injuries while three others in the vehicle escaped unhurt. By the time locals rushed him to Kamineni hospital in Narketpally, he breathed his last.

A letter purportedly written by Harikrishna is doing rounds on social media. Ahead of his birthday on September 2, the actor urged his fans not to celebrate his birthday on the occasion rather help the flood victims who lost houses in the devastating floods in Kerala.

The actor also urged his fans not to erect flexis and banners marking his birthday. He asked his fans in the letter to spend the money in helping the Kerala victims. However, the authenticity of the letter is not yet been ascertained.

Meanwhile, Chief Ministers of both the Telugu states and Tollywood celebrities poured condolence message over the tragedy.
