Ace director Harish Shankar is all set to work with Pawan Kalyan for his next project. This film will start rolling after Pawan wraps up ‘Vakeel Saab’, and a periodic drama under Krish Jagarlamudi’s direction.
Speaking about working with Pawan Kalyan again after delivering a huge blockbuster like ‘Gabbar Singh’ a few years back, Harish Shankar admits there is huge pressure on him.
“As of now, all my focus is set on Pawan Kalyan’s film. We came together for ‘Gabbar Singh’ a few years back and it turned out to be a monstrous hit. Now, the stakes will be high on our forthcoming collaboration it is adding huge pressure on me. I am putting in my best efforts to make sure I match the expectations,” he said.
While asked about the effect of OTT platforms on cinema industry, Harish says even he is eager to see if there will be any noticable impact on theatre industry. He says theatrical experience is next to none and theatre industry will sustain no matter what.
“I can guarantee that I am making a proper commercial potboiler with Pawan Kalyan. His fans can watch this film again and again. His energy in the film will be unreal,” he says. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling this project.
