Nani’s recent release, Yevade Subrahmanyam had not gone well with the Telugu audience. The movie despite good talk and reviews could not set the cash registers ringing for the makers due to its too much of class content. However the movie still managed to impress the makers of Kollywood. It is said that several Kollywood producers are giving fancy offers for the remake rights of the movie.
The Producers are still adopting wait and see policy to make sure they get a big price. It is said that an upcoming young hero in Kollywood is extremely impressed with the film and want to act in the remake of it. More details of this project will be revealed after the Remake rights are sold.
Yevade Subrahmanyam is the conflict between a man who is indulged in Worldly pleasures and a man who believes life is all about living for others. Interestingly the movie had performed well in Overseas than in the Telugu state, may be due to the urbane following of Nani. A new comer Nag Ashwin made his film debut with this film.
