Natural star Nani’s upcoming film ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ is one of the most-awaited films in Tollywood. Set in the backdrop of Kolkata, sources say that Nani will be seen playing the role of a detective in this movie. Sai Pallavi and ‘Uppena’ beauty Krithi Shetty are the female leads in this movie which is being directed by Rahul Sankrityan.
To bring the authentic Bengali look, the team erected a huge set in Hyderabad according to their vision. The shooting happened there till the last couple of weeks but the second wave forced the makers to stop the filming. The set has been kept intact but the heavy rains in Hyderabad over the past few days have reportedly damaged the set.
News is that the makers will have to put some extra money into the repairs before starting the shooting. Not just ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ but many other films are affected by this second wave of the virus. Hope everything returns to normalcy soon.
