In view of Vaikunta Ekadasi falling on January 1st, 2015, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is expecting heavy rush on the auspicious day. Besides Devotees who attend in big numbers, Thousands of VIP are expected to arrive on this day for the darshan of Lord Balaji.
TTD has already made it clear VIP Passes will be issues as per protocol. Only 3 Members will be allowed to accompany a VIP as the new guideline. Inspite of these norms, The count of VIP Passes willn’t be less than 4,000 on Jan 1st.
In addition, There is immense pressure from the Local TDP Leaders in Tirupati on the issuance of VIP Passes. TTD will have a tough time on Vaikunta Ekadasi no matter how many measures they take to please everyone.
