When the central government has called all the Indian citizens to donate money for the PM Relief Fund to help the nation in the fight with our invisible enemy COVID-19, many donors came forward and donated hundreds of crores all over the country.
Many celebrities and corporates came forward to donate huge amounts and there was a criticism that the government is looting the citizens even in this crisis period. Some believed that this money won’t be used for the welfare of the people at the end.
Amid all this confusion and arguments, the center has made a huge announcement that 3,100 crore rupees from the PM relief fund are released for three different purposes. Two thousand crores will be spent on the ventilators to be bought and 1000 crore rupees will be spent for the welfare of the migrant laborers.
Remaining 100 crores will be used to aid the scientists and researchers who are working and researching rigorously to find a suitable vaccine for COVID-19. So, eventually, the long wait is over as the center has shown the evidence of spending the PM Relief Fund to the people in return.
