In that scenario, critics dubbed Legend movie getting many awards as caste-bias act and Telugudesam favoritism. At this moment, if media has to ask Balayya about the same, what questions they would pose to him is the question.
Actually, the Nandamuri hero is said to be in Hindupur all these days, looking after developmental works related to his constituency, and was out of media glare to entertain debates about Nandi Awards.
Today when he turned up at a blood donation camp at NTR Bhavan, media tried to get answers from him. Firstly he thanked jury for honoring his Legend with awards and also congratulated other winners. And then, one a journalist quizzed about the controversy surrounding awards, he just smiled and left the place.
Yes, Balayya answered only a smile for the question. Analysts are dubbing this smile as an answer, which reads, ‘Controversies and crybabies are common for Nandi Awards’.
Meanwhile, when asked to respond about Nandi Awards controversy today at a Blood Donation camp organized in NTR Bhavan, Balayya’s daughter Brahmani said, “It’s not the right time and place to talk about it”.
