Rajinikanth Urges Fans to Prioritize Safety Over Fandom

Superstar Rajinikanth has issued a heartfelt warning to fans, urging them not to risk their lives in the name of fandom. Responding to recent incidents involving supporters of actor-turned-politician Vijay, Rajinikanth emphasized that it is the fans—not their idols—who ultimately suffer if something goes wrong.
Speaking to reporters at the Chennai airport, Rajinikanth expressed concern over the extreme measures some fans take during political rallies to get close to Vijay. He highlighted how such actions can lead to dangerous consequences, citing recent mishaps during campaign events.
Referring to the tragic stampede in Karur, where several lives were lost, and another incident in Thoothukudi where fans were injured while chasing Vijay’s convoy, Rajinikanth urged the youth to be more cautious. “If they get hurt, the hardship is theirs alone. They must prioritize their safety,” he said.
The veteran actor also stressed the importance of education, reminding young people that their student years are crucial. “If you miss the time meant for studies, you will face difficulties later in life. Your focus should be entirely on education,” he advised.
In addition, Rajinikanth delivered a strong message against substance abuse, warning that addiction not only harms individuals but also deeply affects their families. He encouraged youngsters to stay away from negative influences and choose their company wisely.
On the professional front, the Jailer star shared that about 20 percent of his upcoming film’s shooting is still pending. When asked about a much-anticipated collaboration with Kamal Haasan, he said that details regarding the project are currently with the filmmakers.
Rajinikanth’s message, blending concern and wisdom, has struck a chord with fans, sparking conversations about safety, responsibility, and priorities among the youth.
