Thala Ajith and Ilayadalapathi Vijay are top stars in Tamil Nadu. However it is surprising that the same stars are disliked by Telugu movie lovers since they haven’t made a market in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Though they are capable of good acting and doing high voltage stunts, lack of market is hurting them.
This is unlike their other co stars like Surya, Karthi and even Vishal who got good following in Tollywood apart from Kamal Hasan and Rajinikanth. A top distributor says “They are real superstars of Tamil cinema but they are big zeroes in the market of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
As distributors don’t show interest to buy dubbed movies of Ajith and Vijay since they don’t even get openings. Whereas, films of Surya and Karthi and Vishal get released simultaneously, that shows their rising popularity”. It is quite ironic that heroes in one state are big zeroes in another state.
