The High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday turned serious on Gudiwada MLA Kodali Venkateswara Rao alias Nani. Lashing out at Nani, High Court told him to not to “waste Court’s valuable time”.
“Despite being a public representative, why do you want to waste court’s time?” questioned the bench which reacted on Nani’s petition seeking cancellation of the appointment of Jasthi Venkata Ramudu as DGP. The High Court bench asked Nani that why did he choose to waste court’s time if he wanted to move a tribunal against the same issue.
Nani had earlier moved High Court over the appointment of Jasthi Venkata Ramudu as DGP. Leveling serious allegations against DGP, Nani appealed to the court to cancel the appointment GO alleging that Ramudu’s appointment is “against” to Supreme Court’s ruling in Prakash Singh case. Nani had asked court to cancel the GO and fill the spot with a senior officer than Ramudu.
