A HIV groom who tried to cheat an innocent girl by marrying her hiding his disease was arrested in Telangana. According to police a person from Warangal got engaged to a girl from Hasanparti Mandal 20 days back.
Parents of the bride agreed to give a dowry of Rs 4.50 lakhs and on the engagement day gave Rs 50 thousand.
Their marriage was scheduled for Feb 5th. But things took a sudden twist when representatives of social organisations like Sneha NGO and Karuna Maitri organisation in Warangal went to his house to findout reason why he stopped using medicnes for treatment for quite some time.
After knowing the real reason they received a huge shock and at once informed Hasanparti police over phone. Police went to the marriage venue and stopped the marriage. Surprising fact is even family members of the groom are unaware that he was infected by HIV + virus.
Family members of the bride demanded strict action against the groom for cheating them and complained at Hasanparti police station.
