While Hrithik has been the face of the Krrish franchise for years, it remains to be seen whether he will continue playing the titular superhero or introduce a new actor under his direction.
Hrithik’s journey in cinema began behind the scenes as an assistant director on his father Rakesh Roshan’s films like Khudgarzi and Karan Arjun. Over the years, Rakesh Roshan successfully helmed the Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish series, cementing their place as Bollywood’s most iconic superhero films.
Now, Krrish 4 is taking shape as a joint venture between Rakesh Roshan and Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films, promising a grand cinematic spectacle.
Announcing this major leap, Rakesh Roshan took to Instagram, sharing a heartwarming picture with Hrithik. “Duggu, 25 years ago, I launched you as an actor, and today, you are being launched as a director by two filmmakers—Aditya Chopra & myself—to take forward our most ambitious film, #Krrish4. Wishing you all the success in this new avatar,” he wrote.
Following the announcement, Hrithik’s girlfriend and actress Saba Azad expressed her love and support by dropping heart emojis on the post. With this major move, Hrithik is set to redefine his legacy, not just as an actor but as a visionary filmmaker!
