The country’s highest civilian honour is Bharat Ratna and it takes a lot of credentials and achievements in life for someone to get that. But when it is given, the entire nation takes notice of that individual. This is currently being seen at the ongoing Hyderabad Book Festival at the NTR Stadium in Hyderabad.
Apparently, the Bharat Ratna has been conferred to former PM and political Bheeshmacharya Atal Bihari Vajpayee and the noted educationist cum politician Madan Mohan Malaviya. As soon as the announcement was made, enquiries on books related to Vajpayee and Malaviya have begun flowing in.
Many book stalls were approached by customers and some are also keen to discover more information on Malaviya since wikipedia’s info is not sufficient. Malaviya is also a poet who has come up with some revolutionary ideals during a very conservative phase in India. All in all, it has become a blessing in disguise as we would get to know more about these two great men.
