The physical attacks against woman continues. In yet another fresh and horrific incident, a woman, waiting for her tests inside government-run Osmania hospital, was allegedly raped by the hospital wardboy V Nagaraju. The shocking incident took place a few days ago, but only came to light on Saturday.
Going into details, 35-yr-old woman had approached Banjara Hills police to complain against her husband after he physically assaulted her. Cops have sent her for treatment at Osmania hospital. However, according to police, she did not wait for police escort but left to hospital with a letter from the police station. The woman went to the OGH for primary treatment and to get a medico-legal certificate for a domestic violence case against her husband.
It’s where wardboy Nagaraju took advantage of her when she was sitting alone in waiting hall after treated as outpatient. He reportedly took her to the first floor on the pretext that a senior doctor will examine her and allegedly ‘raped’ her. What’s more shocking is that a home guard Qamar Elahi who was present at the site did not inform the incident to his superiors. Along with Nagaraju, cops also took home guard Qamar Elahi into the custody for alleged abetment.
