With uncertainty looming over his much-anticipated Kaithi 2, speculation around his next project had intensified across film circles.

Amid these doubts, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has provided a significant update that has sparked fresh excitement. As per the latest developments, Aamir Khan is officially in talks with Lokesh Kanagaraj for a new project. While the collaboration had been under discussion for quite some time, Aamir has now confirmed that the project is indeed happening and that narration sessions are currently underway.

Speaking about his career plans, Aamir revealed his strong desire to deliver at least one film every year—a goal he admits has been challenging to maintain. However, he remains firm on making it happen. In this context, he confirmed his association with Lokesh, stating that their meeting was supposed to take place last month and that the director will narrate the story once he is in Mumbai.

“My intention and emotion is to give one film a year. I’m trying my best. The project with Lokesh will happen,” Aamir Khan said, confirming the much-talked-about collaboration.

Interestingly, both Aamir Khan and Lokesh Kanagaraj are currently at crucial junctures in their careers and are in urgent need of a solid blockbuster. This collaboration, if finalized, could prove to be a major turning point for both the actor and the director.
