In AP, Bus Stand Is Better Than Airport

Union Civil Aviation Minister, Mr. Ashok Gajapathi Raju visited Gannavaram Airport on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said, “Gannavaram Airport is ready for the expansion. We will develop Gannavaram Airport on par with Shamshabad Airport situated at Hyderabad. 

The Government of Andhra Pradesh is taking task of collecting the land for the expansion of the Airport.” He also said, “Vijayawada Bus stand is much bigger than Gannavaravam Airport. Even the required facilities are also not available at the Airport.”

Later, the Minister held a meeting with the officials to review about the expansion of Gannaravaram and Rajamundry Airports.
