Young hero, Nikhil was mostly seen in boy-next-door roles all through his career. After scoring a series of duds, he finally got back to winning ways with Arjun Suravaram which released last year.
Cut to now, Nikhil is said to be trying really hard for mass image. He is asking the producers and directors who are approaching him to come up with mass subjects with commercial appeal. He is making his intentions clear to filmmakers who are interested in working with him.
It is well known that heroes with mass image enjoy a bigger market and their films get off to a good start at the box office. However, attaining mass appeal is a task much easier said than done. Nikhil seems to be aiming for the same now.
The big question here is, can Nikhil carry off mass subjects? Quite a few heroes including Nithiin and Ram had tested multiple failures in pursuit of mass image. Now, it remains to be seen if Nikhil will be successful in his attempt.
Also, we need to wait and see if producers will abide by Nikhil’s interest and produce mass films with him.
