In a compelling advertisement created by e-commerce biggie Myntra and apparel brand Anouk, “Ahalya” fame Radhika Apte has addressed the bias being faced by pregnant women in Corporate world. As part of the “Bold Is Beautiful” series, they have earlier addressed problem of lesbians, and now focused on issues of pregnant.
Apparently the ad deals with a corporate boss of a construction company and her Senior Architect, played by Radhika Apte, as the lady boss explains why company removed from a top project. She’s denied a promotion because of her pregnancy, as the company confirms that she can’t be around the client 24 hours.
In the climax, the cinematic twist addresses the competition spirit women have, saying that they can handle both work and pregnancy at same time. Radhika is a treat to watch and respect for her grows double, watching this.
