Ahead of the official opening of Computex 2025, Intel has announced a suite of new technologies aimed at advancing performance and scalability across AI, data centers, and edge computing. Celebrating four decades of strategic partnership with Taiwan’s technology industry, the company unveiled significant updates that reinforce its commitment to high-performance computing and developer empowerment.
Professional-Grade GPUs for AI Inference and Workstations
Intel introduced two new additions to its Arc Pro graphics portfolio: the Arc Pro B50 and Arc Pro B60. These GPUs are engineered to meet the growing demand for professional-grade AI inference and workstation performance.
The Arc Pro B60 features increased video memory and expanded software support, targeting AI workloads with enhanced inference capabilities. It is optimized to deliver a balance of performance and value for advanced workstation environments.
The Arc Pro B50 is designed for the high-volume design and engineering markets, delivering competitive performance at an accessible price point.
In addition, Intel previewed Project Battlematrix, a configurable AI development platform capable of supporting up to eight Arc Pro B60 GPUs with a combined 192GB of VRAM. Powered by Intel Xeon processors, the platform is tailored for mid-sized AI models of up to 150 billion parameters, streamlining development for a broad range of enterprise applications.
Expanded Gaudi 3 Deployment for Scalable AI
Furthering its AI acceleration strategy, Intel announced new PCIe variants of the Gaudi 3 AI accelerator. These new form factors are designed to offer flexible, scalable options for integrating AI workloads into existing data center infrastructure.
The Gaudi 3 PCIe cards expand upon Intel’s previously introduced rack-scale systems, allowing businesses to support a wide array of AI model sizes across varied server configurations—enhancing deployment versatility and investment efficiency.
AI Assistant Builder Now Open Source
To support the developer community, Intel revealed that its AI Assistant Builder tool is now publicly available on GitHub. The tool provides modular components and customizable workflows to simplify the creation of AI-powered assistants across diverse use cases.
