‘Vedhalam’ is a film which is well known to the Telugu audience due to some popular scenes and the super hit ‘Aaluma Doluma’ song. The film came out back in 2015 and Meher Ramesh decided to remake this movie after seven years in Telugu. This noted filmmaker hasn’t delivered a single hit movie in his career and some of his movies have ended up as a nightmare for a few star heroes and their fans.
He decided to handle the megaphone once again after 9 years for the ‘Vedhalam’ remake. To his luck, Megastar Chiranjeevi accepted to play the lead in this remake while award winning actress like Keerthy Suresh is playing the sister’s role which is very crucial for the story. Tamannaah will be seen as Chiru’s romantic interest in this mass entertainer.
Rumours suggest that Meher Ramesh designed the character of Chiranjeevi in an interesting manner. Apparently, he will be seen as Pawan Kalyan’s fan in the movie. Fans are curious to see how Megastar fits in as a fan of his younger brother in this movie. Also, Meher reportedly designed a spoof of a famous scene from ‘Khushi’ where Pawan secretly peeps at the waistline of Bhumika in the film. This popular scene will be recreated in ‘Bholaa Shankar’. While the thought of Megastar being a powerstar fan excited the fans, they are a bit skeptical about recreating the ‘Khushi’ scene with Megastar considering his age and stature.
We need to wait and see if the risk Meher Ramesh is taking pays off or backfires drastically.
Apart from this project, Megastar is also working on ‘Godfather’ and ‘Waltair Veerayya’ which are in production right now.
