Two years back, Srinu Vytla was one of the top directors in Tollywood. But now, he is struggling to start his new project thanks to disasters like ‘Aagadu’ and ‘Bruce Lee’. Seems like Boyapati too is heading on the road to perdition.The major reason for the downfall of Vytla is undoubtedly his routine kind of films. Most of his films have similar stories where hero joins the villain’s gang and uses a ‘Bakra’ to win over the antagonist.
If we look closely into the past 4 films of Boyapati, the basic plot revolves around a powerful hero, who tries to save the people from a brutal villain.Most of his movies are often complained about for excessive violence and deja vu kind of scenes. Looks like Boyapati did not to care these things as ‘Sarrainodu’ which released on Friday, is receiving the criticism for being routine and run-of-the-mill.
The movie may perform well due to the holiday season and the craze for Allu Arjun. But it is high time that Boyapati Sreenu comes out of this mould and delivers something fresh next time.
