After lying low for more than 10 months since the release of his last film Gopala Gopala, Victory Venkatesh is finally gearing up for shooting of his latest film in Maruthi’s direction from December. Prior to this, Venky has been in talks with several directors and listened to many scripts.
The prominent director of them all who waited for several months for Venky’s nod is the talented filmmaker Kranthi Madhav. The director was almost set to direct Venky until Maruthi grabbed the offer in the last minute. Now, Kranthi Madhav scrapped his film and is planning on something else.
Another director in question is creative director Krishna Vamsi, who pitched a story idea to Venky. However, the actor was firm on listening to the complete story and asked Krishna Vamsi to come back again with a bound script. Now, Krishna Vamsi is one filmmaker who is known to never carrying a complete script and improvises a lot on the shooting floors.
As he has slowed down to doing only one film per year, Venkatesh must have been determined to do only competent projects and that’s the reason he is acting sightly tough on directors until he is satisfied with the script.
