The tragic stampede at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad during the premiere of Pushpa 2 has left the entire city in mourning. The incident claimed the life of Revathi and critically injured her son, Sri Tej, who is currently undergoing intensive care at KIMS Hospital.

Renowned producer Allu Aravind visited the hospital today to check on Sri Tej’s health condition and expressed his condolences to the grieving family. Speaking to the media, he assured the family of complete support from both the film fraternity and the government.

“We will fully support the family of the deceased. The government is also with us on this. Because of the legal proceedings, Allu Arjun could not come here. I came today on his behalf,” said Allu Aravind.

Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand previously announced that the government would cover all medical expenses for Sri Tej’s treatment. Adding to the relief efforts, Allu Arjun has extended financial support of ₹25 lakh to the affected family. Reports also suggest that the actor’s team has arranged for a crucial injection from Singapore to aid Sri Tej’s recovery.

This tragedy has cast a shadow over what was meant to be a celebratory event, highlighting the importance of crowd safety at public gatherings. The film’s team and authorities continue to work together to ensure support for the victims and their families during this difficult time.
