‘Prema than dhanamaaye’ is the translation or Telugu lyric for the line ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ in the upcoming Salman Khan starrer of the same name, director Sooraj R Barjatya’s “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”. As the film gets released on November 12 in Telugu version also as “Prema Leela”, Salman’s Telugu fans are eagerly waiting for it.
And by the time releasing is inching closer, everyone is now worried about those songs. Because the previous Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya’s films Maine Pyaar Kiye and Hum Aapke Hai Kaun are huge blockbusters in Telugu as Prema Paavuralu and Premalayam, This time, the Telugu lyrics of the Hindi songs are so confusing, unclear and difficult to understand.
They are neither purely poetic and old Telugu kind, nor the modern day Telugu language everyone speaks. That’s why they are tough to understand for modern day music lovers, especially fans of Salman Khan here in two Telugu states. They say, it’s like a torture for these songs.
Recently some couple of big Hindi movies like ‘Happy New Year’ too dubbed their films into Telugu and released the local version on same day. Songs are big let down because of their poor lyrics, while in Hindi they are super duper hit. Seems like Salman committed similar mistake.
