On Friday, Inban Udhayanidhi of Red Giant Movies officially announced that the promo of their much-awaited project will be unveiled on Saturday at 12:07 p.m.

Interestingly, the makers have cleverly played around with the birth dates of the two legends for the announcement timings — November 7 for Kamal Haasan and December 12 for Rajinikanth. The announcement poster, which was released earlier at 7:12 p.m., featured a striking image of a vintage car along with the powerful tagline: “Some Men Set Rules, Some Men Just Rule.” The promo video was recently shot at Prasad Studios, adding further buzz to the project.

The reunion marks a historic moment, as the two icons of Tamil cinema are coming together after nearly five decades. They previously collaborated in memorable films such as Apoorva Raagangal, Moondru Mudichu, Avargal, and Ninaithale Inikum. Their last full-fledged appearance together was in Alavudinum Arputha Vilakkum (1979).

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan is also set to produce Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Thalaivar 173, which will be directed by Cibi Chakravarthi. The renewed collaboration between these two stalwarts has once again ignited nostalgia and anticipation among audiences across generations.
