Jackky Bhagnani Shuts Down Bankruptcy Rumours

Tollywood star Rakul Preet Singh’s husband, producer Jackky Bhagnani, has addressed the growing speculation surrounding his financial standing following the box office failure of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The high-budget action entertainer, featuring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, was made on an estimated budget of ₹350 crore but managed to earn only around ₹102 crore, sparking rumours of financial distress and bankruptcy.

Social media buzz claimed that Bhagnani had sold his Juhu office and was deeply in debt. Setting the record straight, he responded candidly: “I haven’t sold my office — I bought it back.” With this firm statement, he dismissed the rumours and emphasized that while the film didn’t meet expectations, the narrative of downfall was far from reality.

Bhagnani admitted to mortgaging personal assets to support the project, calling it a calculated risk. He acknowledged that entrusting the film to director Ali Abbas Zafar did not yield the intended results, despite the film boasting a high-profile cast and major production values. “This was a gamble, not a failure,” he said, refusing to shift blame or present himself as a victim.

Describing the experience as a “tough phase,” Bhagnani reflected on the lessons learned. “You learn more from what goes wrong,” he stated, adding that public scrutiny and online gossip were expected but did not shake his resolve. His response was not one of denial or retreat, but of accountability and resilience.

Rather than dwell on setbacks, Jackky Bhagnani appears focused on rebuilding and moving forward. Without dramatic declarations or self-pity, he is quietly regrouping, proving that one misstep does not define a career. While rumours swirl online, Bhagnani remains grounded — eyes on the future, not the past.
