Jagan Continues “Chandramukhi” Jibe Despite Election Defeat

Jagan Mohan Reddy employed a controversial strategy before the elections by assigning unusual nicknames to Chandrababu Naidu. He frequently referred to him as “Chandramukhi,” attempting to cast him in a negative light. However, this approach failed miserably, as the people of Andhra Pradesh outrightly rejected Jagan’s narrative. Calling a senior statesman and soft-spoken leader like Chandrababu by such a name did not sit well with voters.

Despite this backlash, Jagan seems undeterred by the electoral setback. Even in his latest press meet, he continued using the same rhetoric. Expressing his frustration, he stated that he had warned the people about Chandrababu, but they did not listen. He compared trusting Chandrababu to awakening Chandramukhi and inviting trouble, saying it was like putting one’s head in a tiger’s mouth. According to him, the people of Andhra Pradesh are now facing the consequences of their decision.

Jagan also accused Chandrababu, Lokesh, and Pawan Kalyan of forming a syndicate, alleging that they were demanding money from contractors and bidders in return for clearing files. However, the derogatory terms he used throughout the election campaign, such as “button nokkudu,” “Chandramukhi,” and “30 years nene CM,” proved to be miscalculations. The voters rejected this narrative, yet Jagan continues to repeat the same allegations, seemingly unwilling to acknowledge the lessons of his electoral defeat.
