Former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy held a media briefing today, where he discussed the current political climate in Andhra Pradesh. During the session, he took a jibe at Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, responding sarcastically to his recent statement regarding Jagan’s opposition status.
When questioned about Pawan Kalyan’s comments—stating that the people do not want to grant Jagan the opposition status and that the government cannot decide on it—Jagan responded dismissively. He remarked, “Aa manishi corporator ki ekkuva… MLA ki thakkuva… Jeevitham lo first time MLA ainadu ippudu,” which translates to, “That person is barely more than a corporator, and just a first-time MLA now.”
Jagan’s response seemed to undermine Pawan’s political experience, implying that he lacked the stature to comment on such matters. The former CM remained indifferent and provocative in his tone, choosing not to engage deeply on the topic or further discuss Pawan’s position.
