In an attempt to put CM Chandrababu Naidu in dock, Opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy actually revealed the ‘price’ of YSRCP MLAs. Alleging that AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is offering Rs 20 Crore per MLA to switch their loyalties from YCP to TDP, Jagan stressed on the ongoing defections. This comes in the wake of reports that Kadiri MLA Chand Basha would soon join TDP. YS Jagan met Governor ESL Narasimhan on Saturday and complained against Mr Naidu. Soon after the meeting, Jagan spoke to media at length.
“Chandrababu Naidu is playing dirty politics. He’s encouraging defections of MLAs and luring them with money, ministerial offers. Each MLA is offered Rs 20 Crore to switch the party,” alleged Jagan. Jagan didn’t stop there. He further alleged that Naidu’s government is deeply mired in corruption where several big wigs in government looted crores in Pattiseema project. Jagan also alleged Naidu of buying lands in and around Amaravati in the names benamis.
“AP government is benefiting only to few contractors. It’s encouraging sand mafia,” concluded Jagan.Meanwhile, Jagan said that he’ll soon be meeting the President, Prime Minister to complain against practices of Naidu. So far, 11 YCP MLAs have jumped into TDP and all have criticised YS Jagan of treating them with disrespect.
