A day after releasing from jail, the YSR Congress party President YS Jaganmohan Reddy took the reigns and busy holding series of meetings with party senior leaders on Wednesday. He discussed the ongoing united Andhra Struggle in Seemandhra region with the party leaders at his residence at Lotus pond here. It will be quite interesting to see what Jagan’s future plan will be.
Party leaders said that Jagan is keen to launch his yatra in support of United Andhra and also expressed his desire to tour in Telangana region. Party MLAs G Srikanth Reddy and N Prasanna Kumar Reddy told media persons here after a meeting of party MLAs and MLCs that Jagan is determined to undertake a tour of the state including Telangana. In the meeting the MLAs and MLCs reiterated that the party’s stand from the very beginning has been pro-united state, but Jagan may shock all by deciding to tour Telangana first. Because party is already strong in Seemandhra region, while in Telangana the future is uncertain due to party’s Samaikya stand.
Since, CBI court had imposed the condition that he should not leave Hyderabad while granting bail, the MLAs said Jagan will move court seeking permission to visit the state in the capacity of a political party President. All regions of the state – Coastal Andhra, Rayalaseema and Telangana were equal important to the YSR party. The party was not limited to a particular region in the state as the party also had strong support in telangana, they added.
