Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Lion despite the negative talk and reviews, is doing exceedingly well at the box office. The movie’s box office performance even surprised many box office experts. However a controversy is threatening to engulf the film.
The main opposition party in Andhra Pradesh, YSR Congress is gearing up to complain about the film to the censor board. Jagan’s supporters who watched the film felt the film had several dialogues which intentionally targeted Jagan and aimed at maligning his character.
Nandamuri fans worry if this controversy create any problem to the movie running successfully in theaters. On the otherside, some say that this controversy will bring more publicity to the film which will in fact help the film.
