Telangana firebrand leader and BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) is celebrating his birthday today, and wishes have been pouring in from across the political spectrum. Among the notable well-wishers was former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, who took to social media to extend his greetings.
In a heartfelt tweet, Jagan referred to KTR as “Brother Tarak” and wrote,
“Wishing my brother Tarak a very Happy Birthday. May success follow you in every step, and may your dreams take shape with strength and clarity.”
This warm gesture reflects the long-standing bond between the two leaders, which dates back to before Jagan assumed the role of Chief Minister. Their camaraderie further strengthened during the period when the YSRCP and BRS were seen aligning informally, particularly united by a common political rivalry against the TDP.
Interestingly, despite both parties facing setbacks in the most recent elections and losing power in their respective states, the mutual respect and brotherhood between Jagan and KTR remains unaffected. Their friendship now stands as a rare example of political relationships surviving beyond positions of power.
