The monsoon sessions of the AP Assembly have heated up on the second day with tempers inflated between Chandrababu Naidu and YS Jagan on special status issue and the cash for vote scandal. The war of wards gained intensity when TDP Minister Atchannaidu accused YS Jagan of conspiring with the TRS Minister Harish Rao against Chandrababu.
Atchannaidu alleged that he has proof of Jagan meeting Harish Rao along with Stephenson at a star hotel in Hyderabad. The minister further said that Jagan gave a letter to the Telangana CM KCR asking an MLC position for Stephen Ravindra. Strongly reacting to Atchannaidu’s statements, Jagan threw an open challenge to him and the AP CM to prove him wrong or the CM must resign from his post.
Jagan further mocked Atchannaidu saying that he is thankful to the TDP Minister for not accusing him of sending Revanth Reddy to Elvis Stephenson’s home with the money. Jagan then said that the TDP party was ready to shell out 150 crore to buy 8 MLAs. Jagan concluded saying that Chandrababu compromised with PM Modi in special status issue as he had to save himself in the cash for vote case.
