Releasing on 20th November in India, “Spectre” was censored the other day for screening in India. The film will be releasing in English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil day after tomorrow. After watching the film, Censors have asked the makers to cut short the length of the kissing scenes by 50%. These days lip kisses are prohibited on Indian screens, as a cultural move.
Well, social media is quipping on this move: Has Censor Board measured how much length James Bond’s kiss is, that they asked to chop for 50%, asked many. Kisses doesn’t matter really, but the way Censor asked to chop them is what really hurts cinema lovers.
