The recently released Mass Jathara song “Ole Ole” has drawn heavy criticism from netizens for its poor lyrics and tasteless presentation. Composed and sung by Bheems Ceciroleo—hailed by many as a promising successor to Thaman—the track has become a talking point for all the wrong reasons.

Lyrics like “Nee tallini – nee chellini – neeyammani… nee yakkani…” have sparked outrage online, with many calling them crass and offensive. One Facebook user bluntly remarked, “It’s better Ravi Teja stops doing films.” The sentiment found wide support, with several fans even expressing disappointment that the Mass Maharaja would resort to such vulgarity under the guise of mass appeal.

The song features Ravi Teja and Sreeleela in energetic dance sequences, but even Sreeleela hasn’t been spared from comparison. Critics recalled her earlier track “Kurchi Madatapetti” from Guntur Kaaram, which faced similar backlash for its suggestive undertones. At that time, the song’s title—associated with a notorious viral phrase—sparked online debates about vulgarity in mainstream Telugu cinema.

Despite the controversy, Guntur Kaaram went on to become a box-office success, and “Kurchi Madatapetti” eventually turned into a chartbuster. Whether “Ole Ole” will follow the same trajectory remains to be seen—but for now, the backlash is loud and clear.
