In a startling turn of events, the Janasena Party has officially suspended Vinutha Kota, the in-charge for the Srikalahasti constituency, following her arrest in connection with a murder investigation. Vinutha was taken into custody by the Chennai police after the mysterious death of her personal assistant and driver, Srinivasulu, also known as Rayudu.
Srinivasulu had recently gone missing, and his body was discovered in a drainage canal in Chennai. The investigation gained momentum after police identified a tattoo on his hand featuring the Janasena party symbol and Vinutha’s name—pointing to a close professional relationship between the two.
As inquiries intensified, the Chennai police arrested Vinutha, her husband, and three other individuals suspected to be involved. According to reports, Srinivasulu had been removed from his duties just weeks before his death. Vinutha had even issued a statement distancing herself from him, further fueling speculation.
With public scrutiny growing, the Janasena Party acted swiftly. The party declared that Vinutha’s conduct was against its core principles and revealed that she had already been distanced from party activities for some time. Her official suspension was announced by Vemupati Ajay Kumar, the head of Janasena’s Conflict Management division.
As the investigation continues, all attention remains on the unfolding case to determine the extent of Vinutha’s and the other suspects’ involvement in the alleged crime.
